Members of RK&K will present on two projects they have worked on for Maryland Transportation Authority at the virtual International Bridge Conference from June 7-11.
Project Engineer Chris Kijak, PE and Senior Structures Manager Lori Magoon, PE will discuss the replacement of a partial steel girder on I-695 and the instrumentation used to monitor the effectiveness of this repair on Tuesday, June 8, 9 am-noon.
On Wednesday, June 9, 9 am-noon, Lori will present with subconsultant Modjeski and Masters about the instrumentation and retrofit of distortion-induced fatigue cracking in the I-95/I-395 steel box girder bridges.
