JOB DUTIES:
Perform field ground surface exploration (e.g., drilling inspection, field tests). Cooperate with subcontractors for fieldwork and laboratory tests coordination. Conduct geotechnical analyses and design based on surface exploration and laboratory test results (e.g., slope stability analysis, settlement analysis, bearing capacity analysis, pile design, retaining wall design, flexible and rigid pavement design). Write geotechnical engineering reports based on geotechnical analyses and provide geotechnical recommendations. Development of contract plans, specifications, and engineers estimates.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Geological Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field plus 6 months of experience as an Engineer or any related occupation.
