Are you a creative, detail-oriented marketing professional with a passion for the architecture, engineering, or construction (A/E/C) industry? RK&K is seeking a Pursuit Specialist to join our dynamic team in either York, Philadelphia, King of Prussia, Harrisburg PA or Wilmington, DE. If you have at least two years of experience in the A/E/C space, we want to hear from you!

 

In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving our business development efforts by:

  • Identifying and responding to RFQs/RFPs
  • Creating compelling proposals and shortlist presentations using Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
  • Managing and maintaining marketing data and collateral in a CRM system

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate and deliver quality proposals for municipal and PennDOT projects; as well as a range of marketing activities for offices firmwide
  • Collaborate with staff to plan, coordinate, design, edit, and produce quality RFP and RFQ responses as well as shortlist interviews and other promotional material
  • Develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives 
  • Monitor, review and report marketing activities and results 
  • Maintain marketing database
  • Attend conferences and/or meetings as needed  

Required Skills and Experience

  • BA or BS in English, Journalism, Communications or related discipline 
  • Two to seven+ years of experience developing creative/dynamic proposals and presentations in the A/E/C industry 
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint 
  • Experience coordinating, preparing, organizing, composing, and completing proposals (custom format, SF 330, etc.) including conducting team coordination 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with technical writing, as well as reviewing and proofreading of materials for content, grammar, and style 
  • Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment with a variety of technical staff and multiple concurrent deadlines 

 

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of database/CRM systems, specifically Deltek Vision/VantagePoint
