The Northwest Boulevard Streetscape Feasibility Study will evaluate opportunities to transform the corridor between University Parkway and Ivy Avenue into a safer, more connected, and vibrant public space.
The US 98 Pearl River Bridge Replacement project involves the replacement of both the eastbound and westbound bridges over the Pearl River between Foxworth and Columbia in Marion County.
The goal of the Tippah SR2 Connector project is to improve local and regional mobility, enhance roadway safety, and support economic development by creating a more direct and efficient route.
As the lead designer for the TDOT I-75 Interchange at I-24 Phase II design-build, RK&K was selected by the City to provide design and engineering support services for the associated I-24 sewer relocation project.
RK&K provided comprehensive construction management, inspection, and materials testing services for the final segment of the Crabtree Creek Greenway corridor.
RK&K supported the creation of a Rapid Damage Assessment Plan to serve as a coordinated tool for identifying, quantifying, and estimating damage to infrastructure from natural or man-made disasters.
RK&K’s team provided end-to-end support for the Town of Warrenton’s Septic Assistance Program website, including content development, design, hosting, and ongoing maintenance.
RK&K provided multi-discipline design and oversight for the Asheboro Bypass project, which included six interchanges, 23 new bridges, 12 culverts and a 1,600-foot-long sound barrier.
RK&K served as the lead designer for the widening and improvements of a critical 12.8-mile stretch of I-40, spanning from the I-40/I-440/US 64 interchange in Wake County to north of Cornwallis Road in Johnston County.
RK&K worked with PennDOT since 2013 to design a solution to mitigate difficult traffic conditions at the intersection of State Routes 209 and 115 in Monroe County.
RK&K served as engineer-of-record for the design of an Intermodal Transit Plaza and several transportation improvements related to bus, bicyclist, and pedestrian mobility and safety along South Washington Street in the City of Falls Church, VA.
This $463 million design-build replacement located on U.S. 301 was completed months ahead of schedule and connects Charles County in southern Maryland and King George County in northeast Virginia.
The Woodrow Wilson Bridge now serves as a vital link for the region, supporting economic growth and enhancing the quality of life for millions of residents.
Upgraded both liquids and solids treatment systems at the 20.5 MGD Fritz Island Wastewater Treatment Plant to comply with a consent order and more stringent discharge permit.
A significant safety improvement program for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers along a mile of San Martin Drive at the Johns Hopkins University Homewood Campus.
The goals set for this project and the site conditions made this superstructure replacement a complex project that required a creative, outside the box design solution.
RK&K was contracted by NCDOT to relocate submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) that would be permanently impacted by the Rodanthe Bridge Design-Build project.
RK&K served as the Lead Designer and Engineer of Record for the 2.46-mile-long NC 12 “Jug-Handle” Rodanthe Bridge Design-Build project over the Pamlico Sound.
