RK&K brings extensive expertise in the evaluation, design, and rehabilitation of water storage facilities. Our experience encompasses elevated and ground-level storage solutions constructed from a variety of materials, including prestressed-precast concrete, painted steel, glass-coated bolted steel, and composite systems. We also specialize in the rehabilitation design of reinforced concrete storage facilities and the engineering of foundations tailored to support these structures.
Our portfolio includes storage facilities ranging in capacity from 0.03 to 2.5 million gallons (MG). Many of these projects required thoughtful integration with surrounding environments, particularly in residential and other sensitive public or private areas, where site aesthetics were a key consideration. Additionally, hydraulic computer modeling was employed to confirm the capacities of numerous facilities, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
