One of the highest honors of the evening, the “Woman of the Year” award, went to RK&K’s own Karen Kahl, Director of Transportation in our Baltimore office.

Each year, this award is presented to a leader in transportation who has made an outstanding contribution to the transportation industry, directly contributed toward the advancement of women and minorities in the industry, and has advanced the reputation and credibility of women in transportation throughout her career.

According to WTS International, this recognition “honors a woman who is an outstanding role model and has contributed to the advancement of women and minorities in transportation.”

RK&K has been recognized by the Baltimore Chapter of WTS International a number of times throughout the years, including being named “Employer of the Year” in 2015.
