Deborah Poppel Elected President of the Pennsylvania Association of Environmental Professionals (PAEP)

At their meeting on January 10th, the Pennsylvania Association of Environmental Professionals (PAEP) elected board member Deborah Poppel to serve as President of the organization.

At their meeting on January 10th, the Pennsylvania Association of Environmental Professionals (PAEP) elected board member Deborah Poppel, Senior Project Scientist in our King of Prussia office, to serve as President of the organization.

Founded in 1985, PAEP is a nonpolitical, multidisciplinary professional society whose mission is to “support individuals in the environmental field through education, career enhancement, and networking opportunities.”

Deborah joined the PAEP board in 2019 as Vice President. While her board term runs for three years (2019-2021), she has been actively involved with the group since 2002.

During that time, she has served multiple different roles, including several conference planning committees and Eastern Section chair.

When asked about the position and her plans for the role, Deborah said “I am so honored and excited to accept this position and begin my term as President of PAEP! I’m looking forward to continued collaboration and fostering opportunities for professional development, learning, and networking, along with leading the growth of this fantastic organization.”
