RK&K is actively seeking a full-time in office IT Systems Support Technician to join the IT/Support team in our Raleigh, NC office.  This position will play a key role for directly supporting RK&K staff, Information Technology and related equipment and software, desktop systems, communications hardware/software and office systems.  A strong team work attitude is required of the candidate.
Essential Function
- Monitor and support a help-desk management queue and support customer assistance requests from task identification to resolution and close
- Assist with computer systems related administration and support as assigned, including backup, security management, user account management for office systems and perform applications support.
- Provide technical support for desktop, network and virtual hardware, software and applications
- Familiar with the process of building, loading and upgrading desktop systems.
- Familiarity with and ability to integrate Cybersecurity into daily activities
- Assists with, implements and understands security measures on networks and/or systems. 
- Assists with the continuous monitoring of assigned systems
- Implements technology needs analysis end-to-end. 
- Configure and distribute hardware and software as required, ensures upgrades are accomplished as assigned.
- Assists in the planning, implementation and support for the network and computing infrastructure plan
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and ability to manage assigned tasks and workload.
- Occasional field installation support. A few one-week trips per year to be expected.
- Hands on cable routing and hardware maintenance.
- Area clean-up support.  
Required Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years current experience supporting IT hardware, software, and systems for 1000+ users
- Familiar with help-desk related operations and software, able to take on and manage multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Windows servers and desktop products 
- Strong understanding of Microsoft SCCM or related imaging, configuration tools
- Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 and related support issues
- Experience serving as an Administrator on a medium sized network of servers, desktop systems, and communications devices using current technologies.
- Specialized certification and strongly recommended (MCSE, A+).
- Proven ability to perform continuous monitoring activities.
- Technical writing ability to develop documentation for both end-users and internal IT staff guidance
- A passion for technology and using it to design creative business solutions
- Light travel to other RK&K offices on an as-needed basis
- Highly developed skills supporting remote workers
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or related
