RK&K is seeking a Quality Assurance Administrator to join our Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) team in Raleigh, NC. This role will support all CEI projects in Eastern, NC.
Essential Function
- Technical support for one or multiple active construction projects
- Visiting construction inspection and engineering staff at various assignment locations to provide on-the-job training and quality assurance checks of their work
- Ensuring that training and equipment needs of field staff are met
- Interactions with clients
- Miscellaneous support activities, as necessary
Required Skills and Experience
- Twenty (20) + years of experience in Roadway Construction
- Five (5) + years of experience in managing construction projects in North Carolina
- The ability to transfer job knowledge and skills to inspectors as they carry out their job responsibilities
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Previous experience with NCDOT
- Previous experience with North Carolina municipalities
- Ability to obtain a PE, CCM, or other relevant professional credential
- Bachelors or Associates in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
