RK&K is seeking a dynamic individual to lead our Asset Management Practice. This pivotal role offers the chance to perform and expand our transportation and facilities asset management services and expand our team to support existing and future clients. This individual would build upon our existing asset management portfolio in the Mid-Atlantic with the potential to grow into a firm-wide leadership role.
Essential Functions
- Manage existing asset management contracts and assignments
- Market RK&K’s asset management services to both existing and new clients
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage a dedicated asset management team
- Lead asset management pursuits
- Collaborate with other RK&K disciplines, including GIS/technology and transportation services, to identify and deliver comprehensive asset management services
- Work with other RK&K managers to identify and capitalize on asset management opportunities across various sectors
Required Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- 10 years overall experience in transportation engineering
- 5 years of experience in asset management or related services.
- Demonstrated ability in overall management and effective communication (written and verbal).
Preferred Skills and Experience
- MBA, MPA, or certifications; PE and AICP
- Proven track record of leading asset management assignments and contracts
- Effective staff management and development
- Experience across various asset management services, such as business processes, organizational change management, GIS software and services, performance-based planning, performance management, risk management, asset management software/tolls (e.g., Maximo, VueWorks, Cityworks)
