RK&K was responsible for verification of inventory and registration of 17 underground storage tanks (USTs), ranging in capacity from 550-15,000 gallons,with the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (VDEQ) in accordance with Subtitle I of RCRA; tank and associated pipeline tightness testing; UST closure; design of replacement aboveground storage tanks (ASTs); and development of operation and maintenance procedures for leak detection.
