Job Description:

Job Description: Rummel, Klepper, and Kahl, LLP (RK&K), a progressive, multi-disciplinary planning and engineering firm, has an immediate opening for an Environmental Planner / Scientist in our Baltimore, Maryland location.
Preferred Skills:

The ideal candidate has:

· An advanced degree in environmental planning, environmental sciences, transportation planning or a related field.

· 5+ years of experience in environmental planning focusing on NEPA document preparation, specifically CEs, EAs and EISs. Experience with transportation projects a plus;

· Experience with other environmental regulations such as Section 404, Section 106, Section 7, Section 4(f), and Environmental Justice;

· Proven expertise providing leadership and hands-on working experience authoring environmental documents and/or permit applications;

· Independent research and problem solving abilities and outstanding written and oral communication skills; and

· Professional certification such as AICP, or CEP desired.
