RK&K is currently seeking a CORROSION ENGINEER in our Concord, NC office. We are looking for an energetic and results oriented individual that has experience in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, and design of cathodic protection systems. The applicant should have an advanced understanding of cathodic protection principles and have sufficient troubleshooting skills and experience recognizing and resolving major problems within a cathodic protection system. The technician should be capable of using the instruments required to accomplish advanced cathodic protection testing to include stray current interference, current requirement and close interval surveys. Ideal candidate will have a BS in engineering or related field; 6 + years of corrosion experience; NACE Certification; and experience performing corrosion control functions. Key qualifications include the ability to work as a team member and work with clients, the ability to evaluate, analyze and recommend programs, materials, and procedures for corrosion control, and the ability to provide technical troubleshooting and design support. Effective communication skills are also required. PE, EIT, API registrations are a plus.

RK&K has an immediate opening for a Project Engineer to join our Natural Gas, Petroleum and Pipeline Division in our Concord, NC office. We are looking for energetic and results oriented individuals. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field with seven or more years experience in the natural gas or petroleum facilities industry. Key qualifications include experience leading a project team or direct supervision of other in an engineering field, knowledge of API, NACE and NFPA standards, ANSI specifications and retail and bulk storage petroleum facilities. Effective communication skills are also required. PE registration is preferred but we will consider EIT. NACE and API certifications are a plus.
